Martin Lamb

Martin Lamb studied at St John’s College, Oxford and GSMD. He made his debut as Sergeant Meryll in The Yeomen Of The Guard for the D’Oyly Carte at the Savoy Theatre and, since then worked mainly playing principal roles in opera. Other work includes Captain Hook for the Brewery Arts Centre, Kendal, numerous readings of new work in London and, recently, work for the Read not Dead programme of Jacobean dramas at Shakespeare’s Globe. Last season, Martin made his debut for Scottish Opera as Don Magnifico in the tour of Rossini’s Cinderella, and is currently rehearsing the Madhouse Keeper for Garsington’s new production of Stravinsky’s The Rake’s Progress.
